Why do I need paint protection?
Due to concerns for the environment, most modern car manufacturers use water-based paints on their vehicles. The problem with these paints is that they do not stand up to everyday attack from UV rays, acid rain, oxidation and general weathering. This results in colour fading and a "tired" look to your pride and joy. Luckily, PCV are experts in paint protection techniques and can treat cars at all phases of paint deterioration. Our paint protection service will smooth uneven surfaces and form a long-lasting, transparent protective barrier.
How long does it last?
This barrier will remain wash after wash and therefore means no waxing! Generally we recommend a paint protection service every 12-18 months.
Price varies depending on the size of the vehicle in question, but are in the region of £100 to £150
What is interior protection?
Interior protection works in much the same way as our exterior paint protection. We create a tough, transparent barrier on the upholstery surface which not only helps to reduce friction between the fabric fibers, but also stops liquids from penetrating them too. This means that any liquid spills will simply "bobble up" on the surface and can be wiped or vacuumed off. This service helps to keep your upholstery texture and appearance looking as good as new.
How much does it cost?
Interior protection can only be applied to new or very clean interiors, therefore this service has a compulsory interior valet before it can be applied successfully. Due to it's very bespoke nature, price can only be given on consultation - contact us today for a quote!
